Hello, welcome!

I’m Adebimpe, a Nigerian, and one thing people know about me is my love for teenagers. I’m passionate about helping young people, especially teenagers, find direction and realize how easily they can be influenced and powerful their influence can be.

That’s why I founded YoungGen Nigeria, an initiative that raises ethical and visionary Gen Z teenagers through creative programmes in ethical leadership and global citizenship.

So far, I’ve worked directly with more than 3,000 teenagers through youth-focused programmes and over 600 through my organization’s projects across Nigeria.

WHERE I COME FROM AND WHAT DRIVES ME

I started out studying Political Science at the University of Ibadan, where my interest in Sustainable Development first took shape. Today, I have a Master’s in Public Administration and Public Policy from the same university, where I learned how effective systems and policies can make development work better.

During my master’s, I was selected by the University of Ibadan for the Erasmus+ KA171 International Exchange Programme in Turkey. My coursework at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, focused on Social Research and Policy Evaluation and Implementation.

The experience gave me global exposure, strengthened my research and policy-writing capacity.

I’ve made peace with the fact that my work will always sit where people, policy, and structure meet.

Over time, I’ve found myself interested in designing systems that make impact work more structured and measurable. My experience in programme management and youth development has taught me that impact needs process, and those processes have to be efficiently managed and sustainable.

I’m also the Founder of YoungGen Nigeria, where I’ve designed and coordinated the WordUp Writing Bootcamp and SDGs Junior Fellowship.

I’m not just looking for projects, but rather building a path that allows me to develop African youths, especially teenagers, into catalysts for sustainable impact, deepen my expertise in public policy and sustainable development, and ultimately contribute to global problem-solving.
